not sure how "easy" that would be. it would be extra cool if it could recognize song breaks and split tapes into separate mp3s. and then run them through those audio song recognizers? haha

it still isnt clear if either of these provide the kind of features you describe. that would be so cool. without those i might as well just use a regular tape player. actually my plan is that the next time i go to my Dad’s house i’ll bring my little digital audio recorder and use his tape deck to capture a bunch of that stuff.
btw i listened to a few of those old WCBN aircheck tapes of mine, including one where i was subbing for Brendan Gillen on Crush Collision one night, trying to be a house/techno DJ. my voice sounded amazingly the same as it does now. I was playing all the old favs, PWEI, Consolidated, KLF, KMFDM, Thrill Kill Kult, etc… ah, memories…
