this is a great picture. i love it. an old man died here a few years ago. his illegal alien care taker went around this road a little too fast & fell in the american canal, he died, he was like 80 and she made it out alive, but agents are not allowed to help out the victims that fall in.
some have died trying to help others so the INS or ICE now doesn’t encourage it.

when u grow up @ the border, its hard to shake off that word. especially when you hear your own family & friends using it.
i say illegal all the time. all the time. I can’t change overnight. I do understand the reason to stop, but its hard. Its a pejorative if you want it to be or as we use it, its just a status doesn’t mean a damn thing when you’re asking your tia, hey, "andas de illegal o ya arreglaste papeles?" context
