This book had me LMFAO on pretty much every page. It doesn't have a huge amount of literary or artistic value, but it's really entertaining. It's a bit cynical and nihilistic, being from the viewpoint of a shiftless drifter/slacker/hipster who doesn't care about anything. He's a well-meaning guy, but he pretty much can't be bothered to do the right thing, though he doesn't go out of his way to be an evil person either. He stumbles through life being constantly drunk and having various surreal sexual and office misadventures, making offhand but incisive critiques of modern life while he's at it.



This won't change my life and I won't probably ever read it a second time, but anything that keeps me that entertained and riveted is worth the stars, IMHO.
